Water recycling

During these school talks, students will learn about Perth’s major water sources and the various threats to the sustainability of these sources.

Year 4–6

Students will learn about the reasons behind the need to increase the amount of water being recycled by Water Corporation and the introduction of groundwater replenishment. Treatment processes associated with recycling wastewater will be explained and we will discuss what students can do at home to safely recycle water.

  • Maximum number of students – unlimited

  • Understand the need to find alternative fresh water sources to secure our water supply.
