Flapjacks

Commonly grown as a pot or hanging basket plant, this tough sculptural succulent is also at home in the garden. Clusters of large, thick, paddle-like, green leaves edged with bronze. May need shade in very hot climates but usually grows better in cooler areas in a sunny spot. Should be kept dry in winter. Looks best as a young plant. Easily propagated from leaf cuttings.

Cultivars include 'Bronze Sculpture' (strong bronze colour on leaf margins).
