A very showy groundcover plant usually only about 20 cm high but reaching as much as 1 metre across. Though it is called the 'Red Lechenaultia' it also occurs in yellow-orange and cream forms.
Cultivars include 'Elderado' (orange flowers), 'Red Devil' (red-green flowers) and 'Tango' (orange-green flowers).
Pronunciation: Lesh-en-ault-ee-ah
