Pink Thryptomene, Rock Thryptomene

A spreading shrub to 1.5 metres high and as much as 2 metres wide. Very small green leaves clasp the often weeping stems which carry clusters of pink or white flowers towards the tips mainly in winter and spring but occasionally at other times of the year. Prune after flowering.

Cultivars include FC Payne (to 1 m high and wide, slightly larger pink flowers), Mingenew Form (to 50 cm high and 2 m wide, slightly larger purple flowers), Pink Lace and Supernova Pink (to 35 cm high and 2 m wide, pink flowers).
