One of the showiest of the hakeas. A small tree to 4 metres high and 3 metres wide, often with an intense weeping habit. Large dull green leaves and very attractive pink, pincushion flowers in autumn and winter. Bird attracting. Prune regularly to maintain shape.
A dwarf form called 'Mini Pini' only grows to about 1 metre high.
