- Family: DRACAENACEAE
- Genus: Dracaena
- Species: marginata
Sculptured, upright foliage feature plant with dark green sword-like leaves with a red stripe to the edge. Gives a tropical look to the garden. Slow to mature to 3–4 metres high. Canes can be cut back to promote a bushier form. Good pot specimen for shade and even indoors. One particularly colourful cultivar is 'Tricolor', which has cream and pink foliage variegations.
