A selected form which only grows to 2 metres high and wide but can be kept smaller by regular pruning. It has light green foliage and attractive paper bark stems. At maturity, the many trunks can be an attractive feature. Seldom flowers but when it does, light purple flowers are produced in late spring and summer over the top of the plant. 'Narrow Nessy' is a more upright form to 2–3 metres high.
