A medium to large tree with a thick, green trunk that becomes grey and swollen with age. Dense, dark green foliage provides good shade. Bell shaped, cream flowers are produced in summer followed by large black seed pods. May self-seed in certain circumstances.
Pronunciation: Brakee-ky-ton
Warning: Low to medium harm potential. Hairs on seeds can be an irritant when touched. Not recommended for planting near bushland.
