Heart Leaf Flame Pea

Also known as the Coral Pea, this small evergreen Australian native shrub, features bright light green, leathery heart shaped leaves and small multi-coloured pea shaped flowers in tones of orange-pink-red and yellow. Flowers are produced from winter through to summer.

This easy to grow ornamental is suitable for garden beds, borders, containers and will grow as a climber if given adequate support. Position in part shade to full shade and plant in an area with moist well drained soil. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth. This plant is relatively short-lived, can easily grow from a seed to a height of 1.2m and a width of 1.2m.
