Kidney Weed

Can be used as a lawn substitute, in partly shaded areas, that will not need mowing and will adapt to moderate foot traffic. In heavily shaded areas it will grow high and leggy. The plant will seed, although flowers are rarely seen. It can spread into grass lawns where in the right conditions, it will coexist with the grass. Difficult to eradicate once established within lawn or paving.
