An upright, evergreen tree to 10 metres or so high and about 4 metres wide. It is often grown for its juvenile foliage which is blue-grey and round. Mature foliage is similar in shape but a normal dark grey green. In a garden it can be kept at large shrub size by regular pruning which also stimulates the production of juvenile foliage.
