A fast-growing, deciduous tree with grey-green foliage and creamy white flowers. Flowers are followed by long seed pods. Young foliage, flowers and fruits are eaten as a vegetable. As a legume, it can produce nitrogen to partially feed itself. While it can grow to more than 10 metres, it's usually pruned back regularly to around 2–3 metres to enable harvesting. Not recommended for planting near bushland.

Pronunciation: Moor-in-gah
