Earn while you learn

An apprenticeship with Water Corporation is like no other. You’ll work on state-of-the-art pumping stations, large-scale desalination plants and other critical infrastructure across Western Australia, all while studying a nationally-recognised trade qualification.

Depending on your trade, an apprenticeship can take between three to four years to complete.

What’s in it for me?

  • Earn an attractive salary while gaining your trade qualifications in a mechanical, electrical or fabrication (welding) trade.
  • Never be bored – get hands-on training and experience working on a variety of projects.
  • Receive a nationally-recognised trade qualification (Certificate III) with all course fees and books paid by Water Corporation.
  • Be supported every step of the way with experienced supervisors and mentors.
  • Enjoy flexible working conditions, including 9-day fortnights.
  • Opportunities to apply for long-term employment - many of our apprentice graduates continue to work with us as qualified tradespersons.
