An evergreen, large shrub or small, many-trunked tree to 7 metres high and 5 metres wide. Slender branches carry large, long, thin, dark green leaves and a mass of creamy white flowers in late spring or summer. Clusters of grey, woody fruits, vaguely pear-shaped, persist for many years. Lightly prune young plants to shape. Bird attracting. This plant may only be available at specialist nurseries.
